Two New Old Stereo Cameras

Yeah, Is one of those day, you get nothing to do and start search for random stuff on the web.

And… I found this two Cameras. Well, they look like a toy more than a camera to me. I want to see how it works, so I bought it, one for $10, and other 7$.

That right, the two cameras are done by the same Company name Nishika. They are pretty old indeed, however, the one I get is a brand new item. Old New item really.

So what the hacker is that? It is a stereo camera, which people use to take stereo image, also known as 3D image. The idea is pretty much the same as the 3D movie you see in Imax today. That is nothing new, Stereo is hit in the 1950s to 1970s era. Although, people mention about it less and less. Most people doesn’t even know it is once exist. Stereo camera normally have two lens, one for left eyes, and one for right eyes. and when the two picture is taken, you look at it with a stereo image viewer, which is simply make you look at the left eye image with your left eye, and right eye image with your right, nothing fancy. BUT IT IS STILL COOL. (to me) haha

I personally is not a big friend of automatic camera, but sense it is only a few dollars, I give it a try to see how it works out. It is also kind of stupid to get both of them, but again, I did it because the same reason. They are Dame Cheap, and it is cool enough to impress me and people around me. I have no idea why this two camera have 4 lenses, while normally a stereo camera only have 2.

There are also a Flash that go with the camera, however it is like $50 and extremely rare, I don’t think I will get it. Unless, I am lucky enough to find one that works great and relatively cheap.

During the process of digging up informations about these two cameras, I also have found a really interesting camera call the “Horizon S3 U-500″. I will talk more about this cool camera a bit later in FoolZ bag

I Found one of my Dream Lens

OMG! OMG! After a half year searching, I finally found this 100mm f/2.8 AI-s Nikon Series E Lens Yesterday. This Lens I found is Mint, The owner say that he only use it twice, and he sale it because non-use. There is close to impossible to found such lens in such condition, and in such price. This type of lens fall between $85 to $135$ on the market, depend on the condition. Ship is not included if needed. I get this Lens for $89. That is simply SWEET~

The Lens is perfect for Head to Shoulder Portrait, and relatively good for sport. Of course, it can do a lot more, but that is the two it get fame for. Although it is a manual focus lens, it can fit to all Nikon camera I have, even for my D80. It is simply Perfect.

NOTE: Don’t  mix this up with the Nikon 105mm f/2.5 AI-s (The Nikon 105mm f/2.5 AI-s is better. There is almost no way to found the Nikon 105mm these days because if a photographer own one, he will keep it no matter what. Even if you found one, it wouldn’t be less than $300)
